I was wanting to use this item with 2'x6' 6mm dibond. Is the 14inch the correct choice? can these units be exposed to the elements (weather)?

The 14" size would hold the Dibond, so I think that would be a good choice for size. They aren't designed for outdoor use, so while they are primarily aluminum, I would recommend using them outside as they weren't designed for that, and they certainly wouldn't be stable enough in the wind.

Can we get the Curvette Mount made in a custom length? We have a sign that is 30" wide. Our customer wants a base that will accommodate the entire width exactly.

Those don't come in custom sizes, but in a very large quantity it might be possible. Contact us at the office in that case and we can check with the manufacturer to see if it can be done and what the minimum quantity for something like that would be. If you don't need a large quantity, I would suggest using 2 smaller Curvettes and making each one flush to the outside edge of the graphic if you want that look.

Curvette Mounts are offered in 5 sizes, and can also be used in series to accommodate larger graphics. Unlike traditional sign holders, Curvette Mounts don't require a specific graphic size, but instead can hold graphics of virtually any width and height.

The unique design offers 2 layers of adjustment allowing them hold any rigid substrate from paper thin materials up to 1.25" thick graphics. The manufacturer recommends a minimum thickness of 3/8", but with lighter weight substrates such as foam boards, 3/16" thick boards work well.

The ergonomic bottom knob tightens the rubber lined halves together, to firmly hold the graphic without requiring holes or other special treatments. Typically, Curvette Mounts are used to hold graphics that are wider than the Curvette itself. Depending on the weight and height of the graphic, the Curvette should be anywhere from 1/2 to 2/3 the width of the graphic, and for larger graphics, multiple smaller Curvettes can be used. If using foam boards or other light weight substrates, Curvette Mounts can support graphics up to 8' tall. If using heavier substrates, such as acrylic, it is recommended that more Curvettes be used for taller graphics, or the graphics should not exceed 6' in height. While it's most common to use Curvette Mounts as a double sided display by using a rigid graphic that is printed on both sides, they can also be used single sided, or double sided by putting 2 single sided graphics back to back in the base. This can be useful if one side of the graphic needs to be used for a longer period of time than the opposite side. Inexpensive clear Graphic Clips are available in the Related Products tab that can be used to keep the top edges of the graphics together when using two boards in this manner.

Available in 7", 14", 24", 36" and 48" widths in both satin silver and matte black finishes. Curvette Mounts have a height of 5.5" off the floor, and measure 14.5" from front to back.
