New Lower Prices on Popular Banner Stands
We're pleased to announce that we've just lowered the prices on some of our most popular banner stands. The QuickSilver Pro, Sterling, and Expo Pro retractable banner stands have all had their prices reduced. Thanks to the increase sales of these items, we're able to produce them in larger batches, which saves us money, and that has allowed us pass these savings on to our customers.
The QuickSilver Pro is a stand we created several years ago, because we saw a need for a stand that came in a range of widths and that was adjustable in height over a wide range of sizes so it could be used as a floor standing display as well as a table top display without having to modify the poles. We had it made with all our favorite features from other stands, such as lever locks on the adjustable sections of the pole, which are only found on high end models. We included a fabric leader on the roller to attach to the banner, since all the models we have dealt with that are made with plastic leaders eventually tear. We used a low profile velcro attachment to the fabric leader since it's easier to deal with than double sided adhesives when it's time to change the banner, and the low profile velcro prevents the banner from getting a bulge when it's rolled up like other stands with velcro attachment. We also built in an adjustable tension feature so it would be easy to add tension if needed, or completely retension the roller in case a customer accidentally sprung the mechanism when installing a new banner. And, we packaged all this in our favorite suitcase style carry bag that has become very popular in the industry. We know we made a good product because of how many we have sold, and because of the knockoffs that are now on the market. The Expo Pro is another stand we've sold for many years, although it started in a slightly different form. Originally, we wanted to offer a banner stand where the customer could change the graphics themselves without needing any special tools or any special treatments on the banner such as adhesives, velcro, tape, etc. At the time, most banner stands had to be sent back to the manufacturer for a new graphic, and that's still a popular option, but not everyone wants to do that. So, we created the original Expo with a hinged top on the base that allowed access to a roller with a snap rail that would clamp on to the bottom of the banner. Combined with a snap style top rail, it was a very popular product as it was the only stand on the market to offer these features. When we updated the design to the Expo Pro, we made the base a little wider so we could eliminate the swing out foot on the original version. This extra width allows room inside the base to store the pole while not in use, which is a nice feature. We also added lever locks to the telescopic pole, and a adjustable tension knob as well. These stands are really shameless knockoffs of the Space Supreme and Space Dual banner stands, but at the time we started offering them, we didn't sell the Space versions of these products. Later, once we became one of the leading dealers of Space products, we decided to continue to offer both stands, as our version was less expensive and popular with those who liked the design, but couldn't afford the higher cost of the original product. Like the Supreme, the Sterling features a removable roller that has both a snap rail banner attachment and a panel strip, and a telescopic height support pole. In all honesty, the Space products offer superior quality and lifetime warranties, but the Sterling is not far behind and at a much better price, so both versions have continued to sell well, and we're able to offer some things with the Sterling that Space doesn't, such as the 24" wide double sided Sterling 2, which is a size our customers wanted but Space didn't offer, and a taller maximum height of up to 92".
