Details

This premium high-definition 6.9 oz optic white dye sublimated polyester fabric is completely opaque thanks to black light block layer on the back side. Made in Germany, it's flame and crease resistant with a slight amount of stretch, making it ideal for a wide range of display applications. It's great for fabric displays like the Expolinc Fabric System, Triga, Simplicity and Pegasus, because the light block layer prevents any light from behind the display from casting shadows that would be visible on the front of the graphic. The wrinkle resistance helps the graphic look good after packing and shipping. The stretch, which is unique in a block out fabric, makes this a great choice for SEG displays since it makes the graphic easier to install and stay tight for the best appearance. For backlit displays, this makes an excellent reflector as the back side graphic on SEG displays, or as the back side of a pillowcase graphic, as it keeps light from leaking through the back for a cleaner look. It is REACH Compliant and OEKOTEX® STANDARD 100 Certified. Since it's dye sublimated, it offers excellent durability and color depth and is machine washable. It offers a high white point and non-reflective matte finish so it's also great for photographic backdrops and other indoor displays where glare can be a concern. Available in widths up to 120".

Approximate longevity of 5-20 years indoors.

Favorite Features

The black backing for opacity while still having some stretch is unique to this fabric. Matte finish for little or no glare. Eco-friendly. Great wrinkle and crease resistance. Soft hand.

Drawbacks

It's expensive compared to other fabrics that don't have these features, so it's mostly for people who are willing to pay extra to have the best looking display possible.

Best Applications

It's perfect for fabric displays that need opacity and stretch. While some displays don't require a fabric with stretch, having that helps prevent wrinkles and creases and allows the graphic to fit the display tighter, which makes for a better looking display. The opacity helps eliminate shadows from behind, which also improves the appearance of the display.

Care Instructions

Dye sublimated fabrics are printed with a process where ink becomes part of the fabric, so it's impossible to damage the print without damaging the fabric as well. This also makes the resulting print washable. If necessary, it should be washed in warm water not to exceed 140°F. Tumble dry cool. Do not over dry. Steaming is recommended to remove any wrinkles.
