Dye Sub Blockout Fabric

This 100% opaque knit polyester fabric has black blockout layer on the back with a high white point for vibrant images and soft hand making it ideal for multiple display applications including SEG displays. It is NFPA 701-1 certified and crease resistant with slight amount of stretch in both directions.It's great for fabric displays like the Expolinc Classic Frame System, Simplicity and Pegasus, because the light block layer prevents any light from behind the display from casting shadows that would be visible on the front of the graphic. The wrinkle resistance helps the graphic look good after packing and shipping. The stretch, which is unique in a block out fabric, makes this a great choice for SEG displays since it makes the graphic easier to install and stay tight for the best appearance. For backlit displays, this makes an excellent reflector as the back side graphic on SEG displays, or as the back side of a pillowcase graphic, as it keeps light from leaking through the back for a cleaner look. Since it's dye sublimated, it offers excellent durability and color depth and is machine washable. It offers a high white point and non-reflective matte finish so it's also great for photographic backdrops and other indoor displays where glare can be a concern. Available in widths up to 120".

Favorite Features

Drawbacks

It's a little more expensive than non-blockout fabrics that don't have these features, so it's mostly for people who are willing to pay extra to have the best looking display possible.

Best Applications

It's perfect for fabric displays that need opacity and stretch. While some displays don't require a fabric with stretch, having that helps prevent wrinkles and creases and allows the graphic to fit the display tighter, which makes for a better looking display. The opacity helps eliminate shadows from behind, which also improves the appearance of the display.
