Details

This 5.4 oz NFPA 701 fire rated knit polyester fabric is treated with HeiQ V-BLOCK antimicrobial textile treatment. This FDA certified treatment uses a special combination of silver and vesicle technologies to kill microbes such as viruses and bacteria so they can't live on the surface or multiply, making this an excellent option to help stop the spread of microbes. This makes for a compelling option for table covers, masks, drapes, partition walls or any type of fabric display. The treatment is good for at least 30 washes at 140° or below so it has a long useful life in environments such as restaurants, hospitals, schools, exhibit halls, offices and retail spaces. It offers excellent print quality, color depth and wrinkle resistance as well. Available in widths up to 102"

Approximate longevity of 5-20 years indoors, 6 months outdoors.

Favorite Features

The antimicrobial treatment is what makes this special, but it offers color and image quality that is as good or better than any other fabric.

Drawbacks

It can fray, so it should be hemmed or trimmed with a hot knife. It's not opaque so light from behind will show through. The antimicrobial treatments makes it more expensive..

Best Applications

This material is great for table covers, masks, sanitation stations, SEG displays, fabric pop ups, banner systems and pillowcase style graphics with a zipper.

Care Instructions

Dye sublimated fabrics are printed with a process where ink becomes part of the fabric, so it's impossible to damage the print without damaging the fabric as well. This also makes the resulting print washable. If necessary, it should be 140° or less water on a delicate cycle. It can be steamed or ironed using a low temperature setting for delicate polyesters. If used on a frame system, it's recommended that the fabric be installed on the frame to air dry so that it doesn't shrink. If not being used with a frame, air drying is best where possible, or use a drying setting with a temperature below 140°.
