Can pro-patch be glued onto upholstery with a vinyl adhesive or is sewing the only option?

It's designed to be sewn, but it might work being glued. Adhesives generally don't hold up over time, so if you decide to do that, you'd have to test it yourself, but it could work. We have small printed samples, so contact our office if you'd like one sent out that you can play with.

This specially designed material is made of a two piece construction, a clear 18 mil vinyl with a white 6 mil backer. The result is a durable vinyl patch that can be sewn into garments, upholstery, bags or other textiles for advertising, sponsorship, or identification. Applications such as motorcycle or ATV seats, team uniform patches, bar stool covers, sponsor ski vests, paintball duffel bags, and tire covers are other possibilities. Available in widths up to 54"

Approx. indoor longevity of 5-20 years depending on use.

It's heavy enough to be used for upholstery or patches.

Drawbacks

It must be sewn into whatever it's used for. It's vinyl so it's not eco-friendly.
