This 13 oz blockout banner material is durable, non-curling, NFPA 701 fire rated, and is also PVC-free and recyclable, which makes it the material of choice for banner stands and hanging displays where flat, curl-free edges are important. It has a grey back that helps provide opacity and smooth matte finish helps reduce glare. Because of it's resistance to curling, it's the recommended material for banner wall displays, since the lack of curl helps minimize the space between the banners in that configuration. Available in widths up to 80".
Indoor longevity of 5-20 years.

This material resists curling better than any product we've tested. There are many materials on the market that are called curl free, stay flat, so-flat, and other such descriptions, but none of them hangs as flat as this material, which makes it one of our favorites.

Best Applications
This is the material that's the Standard Banner option in our retractable banner stands and portable banner stands. Because it resists edge curl, it's our favorite material for these displays. It's particularly valuable when used with banner walls, where multiple banner stands are placed together to form a larger image. The lack of edge curl means the gaps between the banners is minimized or eliminated, which is why it's the recommended material for those types of banner displays.

Installation Instructions
If you are ordering your banner with grommets, the best way to hang it is to put some tension on the grommets so the banner is pulled tight and hangs flat. If you are using banner hanging hardware to hang the banner without grommets, follow the instructions that came with your hardware. We sell banner hanging systems that are inexpensive, make for a great looking hanging display, and don't require any special finishing on the banner. If your banner is being installed in a banner stand, see the installation instructions on the page for the banner stand model you are using. Be sure to choose the correct finishing options to match the type of banner display you have. For example, if you are using an X-banner stand, you will need grommets in the corners of the banner. If you are unsure, tell us in the Special Instructions what display you have so we can make sure the finishing is correct for that specific purpose.
