Wind Dancer
The Wind Dancer family of portable banner poles offers great options for indoor or outdoor portable banner displays. These telescoping flag poles offer adjustable display heights of up to 16 feet and come with a hollow base allowing the option of adding either water or sand as a weighting agent. The constructed portable banner stands are easy to position, erect and remove. Complete user instructions included.

Banner Material Choices
Economy Banner: 18oz blockout banner. This durable, weatherproof, scratch-resistant banner solution is smooth on both sides with a blackout layer in the middle making it ideal for single or double sided use. It has a soft, smooth surface that makes it excellent both indoors and out, and the low gloss finish is great for situations where glare is a concern. Outdoor longevity of 6 months to 3 years, indoor longevity of 5-20 years.
Standard Banner: 24oz blockout vinyl. This luster finished vinyl is smooth on both sides with a blockout layer to allow for double sided printing and provide superior image quality in an extra heavy 24oz weight. It is scratch resistant and weather proof, and flame resistant making it perfect for use indoors and out. Can be sewn and grommeted. Approximate outdoor longevity up to 3 years.

Setup Instructions
Graphic Template
Normal production time is 4-5 days if you're ordering a graphic with your display hardware. Hardware only orders usually ship in 1-2 days. During the order process you will be asked if you have a specific due date, and if you do, we will adjust your shipping method, if necessary, to get your order to you on time. If you need your printing order even quicker, we also have a rush service. If you authorize rush charges, we can get your order shipped in 1-2 days. Rush charges are $75 per order. If we're able to meet your deadline without bumping other jobs, we won't actually charge the rush charge, but you must authorize the rush to guarantee delivery.
We recommend that bitmap images such as digital photos be 150dpi at the actual print size in order to look good from close range. Larger display graphics tend to viewed from further away, so if that's the case, lower resolution files of 72-100 dpi at the actual print size can be used and still look good from 5 feet away. We use special software to enlarge smaller images to their full print size, but the larger the original file, the better the results will be. If you're images are smaller than we recommend, which is common for larger prints, it's important to consider viewing distance as well. A print that shows a lack of resolution due to enlargement up close, might look just fine from arms length. We've printed images at 16 feet wide from 8 megapixel cameras that look very good from five feet away, so where a print will be displayed and how close you expect it to be viewed from are important to consider when deciding how large a print can be made. When in doubt, send us your file and we'll examine it and let you know how large we think it can go and still look good.
Since the base can be filled with water or sand, and the banner rotates with the wind direction, it's very stable. We recommend taking down the Wind Dancer if winds in excess of 25 mph are expected, as heavy winds put great stress on the components and can weaken them.
The setup is very easy and takes about 5 minutes, and it can be done by a single person. When setting up the Wind Dancer outdoors, it's best to put the base in place before filling with water, since it will be very heavy and difficult to move once it's filled.
