While the Toucan is the same style with a similar appearance to the Econo Stand, and many inexpensive retractable banner stands on the market, it is actually a much higher quality product. It's made from heavy weight aluminum and is a very sturdy and solid banner stand.

The QuickSilver family of retractable banner stands offer excellent value and easy banner changes thanks to the use of velcro attachment to both the head rail and roller mechanism. There are 4 sizes available and the 24" wide model is one of the few full height banner displays we offer in a narrow width, and the 60" wide model is by far the least expensive oversized stand we sell.

This is an inexpensive model from a top company, so it's unique in that it has a lifetime warranty at a low price. It obviously doesn't have all the features of the more expensive Expolinc models, but it's a great value.

The Sterling represents the latest in retractable banner stand technology. We had this stand made exclusively for us with all our favorite features. It offers a completely adhesive-free, tool-free banner mounting system that includes a snap rail on the removable roller mechanism and thumb screws that tighten by hand on the clamping head rail. Because the roller is removable, you can easily take it out to change the graphic by attaching it directly to the roller with the convenient snap lock rail. This means there is no adhesive, velcro, special parts or treatments needed to mount or change the banner so Sterling retractable banner stands are compatible with a wider variety of banner materials.

It's one of our exclusive retractable stands, along with the Sterling, Quick Silver Pro and the various Space stands, and doesn't require any adhesive or special treatments to attach the graphic to the banner stand. The head rail has a snap lock feature, as does the roller mechanism, so frequent graphic changes are no problem for this stand. These stands come in a 33.4" width, which is a very nice size that gives you enough width to make an impact yet is still narrow enough to be easy to transport.

For the best quality inexpensive retractable banner stand, the Expolinc Roll Up Promotion is unique. It's a scaled back version of the Expolinc Roll Up Classic banner stands, but it still has the lifetime warranty that Expolinc offers on all their products. This makes it a great choice for large quantity purchasers who want a quality product, as well as for individuals on a budget who want the protection of lifetime warranty.

The QuickSilver Pro stands are great for a variety of reasons. They are inexpensive, but a good quality to hold up well over time, and graphic changes are very easy. They are significantly cheaper than any other option we offer in the large sizes, and the travel case is one of the nicest at any price. They also include a tension adjustment knob, which makes it easy for anyone to add tension to the banner without tools. This is a great feature that can save significant time and money if the stand looses tension during shipping or when changing a banner. While we don't charge for retensioning a stand that isn't retracting fully, the shipping costs back and forth can add up so this is nice feature to have.

A nice mid range stand at a great price, the Sterling is an excellent choice. It features a removable roller with snap lock banner attachment, similar to the Expo, so banners can be attached without any adhesives or special parts needed. It has a telescopic pole so it can be used for a variety of different applicatons. The Space Supreme falls in this category as well. While it's a premium quality stand with many advanced features, we are able to sell it in the mid range price category, making it one of the best values we offer. It also has snap rail attachments on the roller and headrail, and removable rollers, but the roller can also accommodate panel strip mounting. It's also available in multiple sizes from 33.4" up to 59" wide, and comes in a deluxe carry case. A fixed height 84.7" pole is standard, but a telescopic pole is optional if you need to vary the graphic height.

For a retractable banner stand with advanced features, the Space Infinity is an excellent choice. It comes with a fixed height pole that displays an 84.7" tall graphic, but there is a telescopic pole option so it can be used at different heights from 39" to 84.7", and a taller fixed pole that displays a 94.5" tall graphic. It has a snap rail attachment to the roller mechanism, which makes for very easy graphic changes and good reliability. It also has adjustable tension on the roller mechanism so it can be adjusted if it looses tension over time or if more tension is needed to roll up a stiff graphics. It also has an excellent suicase style padded carry case and the only built in control to lock the roller mechanism when changing graphics with no metal pins needed. This retractable stand bridges the gap between the entry level stands and the high end models because it has the professional quality and premium features of the best stands on the market, but is still affordable.

For those looking to purchase products made in the USA, the Mercury is the only option available. While many of our banner stands are from US and European companies, virtually all of them are manufactured in Asia. The Mercury comes in 4 widths in both single and double sided versions, and it's telescopic so the height can be adjusted to wide range of sizes. These don't have the same polished finish as many of the other stands in this price range, and they take an extra minute or two to setup, but they come with a lifetime warranty and are popular for those looking to buy American.

At the high end, the Space Supreme and Ininity are the least expensive and they are described above. The Expolinc Roll Up banner stands are the similar with the Classic collection being available in 5 widths from 27.5" to 57.1" and 4 heights from 57" to 96.5". This makes for an extremely versatile collection of roll up banner stands that are well made with lifetime warranties.

For the top-of-the line retractable banner stands, the Expand M2 and Expand Media Screen 4 are our favorites. These retractable stands are not inexpensive, but for trade show pros or heavy duty users, these banner stands are well worth the cost due to their superior construction and lifetime warranties. These retractable banner stands are basically the same with a different exterior appearance, and the Swedish design is apparent in every aspect of these stands. They use a different technology for retracting the banner that eliminates the spring mechanism that's found in every other retractable stand. The Modular Tension System found in these banner stands cannot unwind causing the stand to be useless, because when the banner is retracted into the base, there is no longer tension in the roller. This is a difficult concept to grasp if you've used other retractable banner stands, but once you've tried this stand, using another retractable banner stand is like sitting in coach once you've flown in first class. The graphics are installed on super-light media rolls, and mounting the graphic is simple and requires no tools so it can be performed anywhere. Also, since the media rolls don't contain a spring mechanism like other cassette retractable displays, they are lighter and less expensive making it more cost effective to have multiple graphics available for your display.

If you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to a full popup booth that still looks professional for a back wall setup or for larger trade show banner displays, we have several options. The Aero Multi-Option Backwall consists of three separate retractable stands that roll from the top down, all connected by supports that allow the individual panels to be used at various angles and different heights. The effect is like putting multiple retractable banner stands together, but in a very professional way. The only down side to this stand is that it's not as tall as some of the retractable banner stands, and it's not as portable since it packs into three bags with two of them holding the round bases.

We also have the Expand MediaScreen XL, which are retractable banner stands with graphic widths of either 39.375 or 47.25" and a height of up to 118 1/8". These large retractable banner stands have unique magnetic connectors on the ends of the head rails so multiple units can be easily linked together to form a display of 8', 12', 16' or more wide.

For a seamless wall, the Alligator retractable banner stands are the only models where the graphic extends edge to edge and completely hides the base so multiple stands can be placed together with no gaps between the graphics. These stands also have magnetic connectors in the head rails to link the stands together. The stands must be placed at angles to one another for the seamless effect. Another option for large banner displays are the Banner Bug retractable banner stands. We carry these retractable stands in a variety of sizes, but the largest size is an incredible 6 feet wide. Obviously at such a large size, they are a more difficult to transport, but if you want to make a really big and seamless impact, these banner stands will allow you to do it.

We offer several options with each stand so you can choose the qualities and price that suit your needs. All our options offer excellent print quality, are waterproof, tear resistant and fade resistant, so any choice you make will be a quality product.

The Economy 13oz blockout banner is the least expensive option. It's a smooth blockout vinyl that prints very well, but it tends to curl inward on the sides.

The Standard Opaque Polyester Film is an eco-friendly 7 mil film with an antistatic gray backing and a textured satin finish. This polyester film hangs flat without edge curl, and it's waterproof, scratch resistant, tear resistant and provides good color while diffusing glare. It has the look of our Premium Trade Show Banner without the extra cost, and because it's opaque, light from behind won't cast shadows on your graphic.

The Standard Curl Free Fire Retardant banner is our overall favorite. It's engineered to hang flat without any edge curl, and it has a high-end, fabric-like low gloss finish. It has very good color, but it is not opaque so light from behind can cast shadows on the banner,

The Premium banner is the finest material available. It's printed at the same quality as our fine art reproductions, has a textured polycarbonate finish for the ultimate in durability, and is opaque. It hangs very flat but does develop a memory when retracted which causes the banner to curl when it's first setup each time. The material will relax after several hours, but that can be an issue in some circumstances where the banner must be setup for immediate viewing.

For banner stands ordered with banners, normal turnaround time is 3-5 days plus shipping time, depending on the model you order. Hardware only orders usually ship within 1-2 days. During the order process you will be asked if you have a specific due date, and if you do, we will adjust your shipping method, if necessary, to get your order to you on time. If you need your order even quicker, we also have a rush service.

We don't keep every size and model in stock because we carry so many different styles. We do carry the most popular options in stock, and the models we don't carry are usually in stock in our manufacturer's warehouses. Even the models we don't stock can ship within 3-5 days, or faster for rush orders. For hardware only orders, we ship from whichever location is closest to you for the fastest and least expensive delivery.

Yes, we sell all our banner stands with or without a banner. If you don't already have a banner, we obviously recommend having us print and install the banner for you, since we provide top quality printing and banner materials at very competitive prices, but the choice is yours. There are instructions, specs and templates for each banner stand on each product page to assist you both with designing your banner and installing them for those who want to provide their own banner.

We do offer far more models than any other company that we are aware of, and the reason is that they are all different. In general, many of them seem similar, but each one has unique features so that no two of them are the same. Believe it or not, there are far more models available that we don't offer because where two models are basically the same, we only offer what we consider to be the best of the two. But, that still leaves a huge selection, which can seem a bit overwhelming. That's why we provide suggestions in the Our Recommendations tab to help those who are undecided. But, we frequently get calls from people who are looking for a specific set of features in a banner stand, and often there is only one model that will fit all their requirements, and that's why we have so many models. That way we are more likely to have exactly what you need, rather than making you settle for something that isn't quite what you wanted.

We offer multiple banner options for the same reason we offer so many stands, so that you can get exactly the combination you want. Each banner material we offer is a quality product that is tear proof, water proof, and fade resistant and printed in full color at high resolution. The differences are in their other qualities. Our Economy banner tends to curl inward on the edges, so we offer it because it's the least expensive, high quality material for those on a tight budget who don't mind the edge curl. Our Standard Curl Free Blockout banner is a high end material that will hang flat without edge curl, but it's a little more expensive, so while most people choose this option, we didn't want to force a more expensive material on those people who would rather live with some edge curl and save the money. The Premium banner is for those who want the very best banner stand material available, need the extra durability of a laminated graphic, and don't mind the added expense.

That depends on your priorities. If you want the least expensive banner, the Economy banner is the best choice. If you want the banner that hangs the flattest, the Standard Curl Free Blockout banner is the best. The Standard Opaque Polyester film is the best curl free option if you want a banner with a traditional trade show graphic look, as opposed to the fabric look of the Curl Free Blockout banner. If you want the most durable banner with fine art print quality, then the Premium banner is the best choice.

As we've said before, all our banners are quality materials with excellent print quality and durability, so in that regard, you can't make a bad choice. The Standard Curl Free Blockout banner is by far the most popular material we offer. It has excellent color, a high-end fabric-like finish, and hangs the flattest of any material we offer. The Premium banner also hangs flat, but it has a memory and will curl each time it's set up until it has time to relax, which usually takes several hours.

While most of our customers provide us with a file for printing their banners, we can also design your banner stand graphics for you. We've found in most cases, our customers have an idea of what they want, and often already have logos, photos and the wording they want on the banner. In that case, the design or setup of the file takes much less time and is therefore less expensive than a full design where we would come up with the concept, the images, etc. In a case where you have all the elements and just need us to set them up in a professional and attractive manner, the cost usually runs from $25-$75. For situations where we need to do a bit more work and get high resolution images for you, the cost is generally in the $75-$100 range. Full design work from concept to finished product can run from $250-$500 or more.

Yes, the installation of the banner in the stand is included so your stand is ready to go when you receive it.

Some models of retractable banner stands are telescopic, which means their support pole is not a fixed height but extends and can be set do different heights. If you look at the specifications tab for each model, it will show the range of sizes that you can use a specific telescopic banner stand. You can also look at our Retractable Banner Stand Comparison Chart to quickly see which models are telescopic and their range of sizes.

For retractable banner stands that are not retractable, most can be used at different sizes by using only one or two sections of the support pole, instead of all three. With some models you may have to cut the elastic cord that holds the sections of pole together, but with others, you can simply let them hang and remain connected. If you need this capability, contact us and we can give you information on the sizes that a particular model can be set to by using different pole sections.

Regardless of what you may hear from our competitors, all banner stand are designed so the banners can be changed, and while it may be more convenient to send a stand back to have us change the banner, it's not required. Some retractable banner stands have methods of attaching the banner that are easy than others, so if you want to change the banner yourself, you may want to look for models that make that easier for you.

The most common attachment of the banner to the retractor mechanism is through the use of a leader material that is attached to the roller on one end. The banner is attached to the other end of the leader since with most designs, you don't have access directly to the roller mechanism. Other styles do give you access to the roller through various methods, so those generally don't have a leader as it's not necessary in those cases.

The most common method for the top rail to attach to the banner is by a clamping action or snap rail. With this style, the head rail opens and snaps closed on the banner to grip it firmly. Other methods include a clamping rail with set screws, velcro attachment, or a specially designed piece that sticks to the banner and fits in a channel in the headrail.

Some cheap banner stands have head rails where the banner simply sticks to an adhesive strip, but we've found that method to be unreliable and it makes changing the banner very difficult, so we don't offer any models that rely solely on double stick tape to support the banner.

The cost for a replacement banner will obviously vary depending on the banner material selected, as well as the particular model of stand the banner is for, since the size varies between models. The easiest way to determine the cost of a replacement banner is to look at the hardware only price for a particular stand, and deduct that from the cost of the stand with the banner of your choice. The difference will be the cost of a replacement banner.

This is up to you and we do provide instructions for changing the banner should you want to do it yourself. Some of our models have extremely easy graphic changes, and others are a little more involved. We are always happy to change the banner for you, but there is the additional cost of shipping the banner stand back and forth, so many people prefer to change the banner themselves to save money. In fact, that's one of the selling points of some of our most expensive models such as the Expand M2. Even though it's one of the more expensive stands, the fact that the graphic change is so simple means it can save you money over time because you won't have to pay to ship your stand back and forth for every graphic change. And, with it's lifetime warranty, it can easily turn out to be less expensive in the long run.

During the order process, you will be presented with shipping options, and their respective costs, so you can choose which shipping method you would like. You are not required to complete the order at this point, so you can use this as a means of determining the shipping cost. If you're going to ship your banner stand, you should use the box it was shipped in. The same is true for checking them as luggage, although in our experience, even the shipping box may not be enough to protect the stand when checking it with an airline. Small stands can usually be brought as carry on items, or we also sell various hard shipping cases that will protect the stand if you check it with an airline or ship it with any common carrier such as UPS or FedEx.

There are quantity discounts available on both the banners and the stands. The discounts on the banner printing are for multiple copies of the same design, and are available at quantities of 2, 10, 25, 50, etc. Discounts on the hardware vary by model but generally start at quantities of 11. Yes, we can provide replacement banners for any stand, whether or not it's one we sell. It may be necessary for you to send us the stand so we can be sure the banner is printed at the correct size and with the correct specifications to work properly, but otherwise, it should not be any problem.

Since we sell such a huge selection of stands, the odds are good that we can provide repair or replacement parts for you. There are some brands that we don't work with and can't get replacement parts for, but if the stand is not under warranty anyway, we may be able to repair it for you, since the design of most stands is the same.
