For an inexpensive portable banner stand for trade show use with a fixed height, the Lightning is a great portable banner stand. The Promo Banner Stand is a great value, but in our opinion, it's better suited to store display than trade show use because it's maximum height is only 6 feet, which is shorter than most trade show banner stands. In a trade show environment where so many displays are competing for attention, larger displays are usually preferred and this display could easily get overlooked.

Our favorite trade show banner displays are the Space Lite family of portable banner stands, and the Expolinc Pole System. The Space Lite is the most stable L banner stand we offer, thanks to the lower pole section being weighted to lower the center of gravity. They come in 4 widths and with the exception of the 24" model, they offer adjustable height poles. These are simple, well made displays that are our least expesnive, and one of our favorites. The Expolinc Pole System has a folding 3 legged base and telescopic pole with top and bottom snap rails. It's very quick and easy to set up, can be ordered in single and double sided versions in 4 different widths, and is different because the bottom snap rail can be moved up and down the support pole to make for virtually any size banner. This style also makes a great retail banner stand.

For retail banner stands, the Portable Graphic Stand and GripGraphic Banner Stand are similar products. The differences are that the Portable Graphic Stand uses velcro graphic attachment where the GripGraphic stands have SnapGraphic rails to hold the banner. The GripGraphic stands also come taller in the 36" width, extending up to nearly 10' tall. The can both be configured for trade show use, but especially in the taller sizes and when used single sided, the standard square bases are more stable but they won't fit in the optional travel bags. So we recommend this more for store display or other situations where the square bases can be used, or for trade show use when you plan to use them at shorter heights or in a double sided configuration.

The Expolinc Pole System described above is similar to these products in that the graphic height can be adjusted, and the bottom cross bar can move up and down the support pole to make a variety of banner shapes. Compared to the Portable Graphic Stand and GripGraphic Banner Stand, the Expolinc Pole System is easier to set up and more stable for trade show use compared with the travel base option available on these other stands. For retail use, it's still very stable, but without the extra weight that the heavy flat bases provide.

The Apollo Telescopic Banner Stand is also a great option for retail store displays. The combination of telescopic height and and adjustable bottom rail means you can configure this display for different banner shapes and sizes, and also add accessories such as literature baskets, sign clips and brochure holders to make it a full information center. With the support poles on the sides, the banners can be viewed from both sides so double sided banners can be used if desired, and having two weighted bases makes the display extra stable.

For a larger banner, the Pegasus is a simple yet very effective portable banner stand that makes an impressive banner display. It's adjustable in both width and height up a to a maximum display area of 95"x96", or just about 8 feet square. It's easy to assemble, although for a large banner it's easier to setup with two people, and is a very inexpensive way to create a large display. Keep in mind that the banner must be kept in a separate tube from the display itself, and we don't recommend folding the banner, so the larger the banner, the larger the tube you will have to transport to your show.

We offer several options with each stand so you can choose the qualities and price that suit your needs. All our options offer excellent print quality, are waterproof, tear resistant and fade resistant, so any choice you make will be a quality product.

Economy Banner: Smooth blockout banner is a completely opaque vinyl with a low gloss finish and a slight fabric texture. It produces sharp, vivid images and is waterproof, tearproof, fade resistant and very durable. While considered a curl free material, it doesn't hang quite as flat as our more expensive options, but overall it's an excellent option at a great price.

Standard Banner: Curl Free Fire Retardant banner has the beautiful upscale look of fabric, excellent color reproduction, a low glare finish and it is specially engineered to hang flat without curling at the edges, even with heavy ink coverage. It's waterproof, tearproof, fade resistant and of all the banner options available, this one hangs the flattest. As it is fire retardant, with an NFPA 701 rating, it's excellent for display in public buildings such as museums, theaters, and other locations with strict fire codes. This is our most popular material.

Fabric Banner: Blockout Polyester is a heavy 100% polyester fabric that is woven so tightly that it's completely opaque so light from behind can't cast shadows on the graphic. It's waterpoof, tearproof, fade resistant and offers sharp printing with brilliant colors. This material is printed with water-based latex inks for an extremely eco-friendly solution that hangs very flat and looks great.

Premium Banner: Tradeshow Banner is printed on an opaque polyester film and laminated with a polycarbonate laminate for a 10 mil thick finished banner. It is the ultimate in image quality, will hang flat without curling at the edges, is the most scuff and scratch resistant product available, and has a classic low gloss polycarbonate textured finish that is the standard for tradeshow graphics. It's fade resistant, tear resistant, and waterproof. This product is also very environmentally friendly being printed with water based inks and containing no PVC.

For banner stands ordered with banners, normal turnaround time is 4-5 days plus shipping time, depending on the model you order. Hardware only orders usually ship within 1-2 days. During the order process you will be asked if you have a specific due date, and if you do, we will adjust your shipping method, if necessary, to get your order to you on time. If you need your order even quicker, we also have a rush service.

We don't keep every size and model in stock because we carry so many different styles. We do carry the most popular options in stock, and the models we don't carry are usually in stock in our manufacturer's warehouses. Even the models we don't stock can ship within 4-5 days for stands with banners, or faster for rush orders. For hardware only orders, we ship from whichever location is closest to you for the fastest and least expensive delivery.

We sell all our banner stands with or without a banner. If you don't already have a banner, we obviously recommend having us print and install the banner for you, since we provide top quality printing and banner materials at very competitive prices, but the choice is yours. There are instructions, specs and templates for each banner stand on each product page to assist you both with designing your banner and installing them for those who want to provide their own banner.

We do offer far more models than any other company that we are aware of, and the reason is that they are all different. In general, many of them seem similar, but each one has unique features so that no two of them are the same. Believe it or not, there are far more models available that we don't offer because where two models are basically the same, we only offer what we consider to be the best of the two. But, that still leaves a huge selection, which can seem a bit overwhelming. That's why we provide suggestions in the Recommendations tab to help those who are undecided. But, we frequently get calls from people who are looking for a specific set of features in a banner stand, and often there is only one model that will fit all their requirements, and that's why we have so many models. That way we are more likely to have exactly what you need, rather than making you settle for something that isn't quite what you wanted.

We offer multiple banner options for the same reason we offer so many stands, so that you can get exactly the combination you want. Each banner material we offer is a quality product that is tear proof, water proof, and fade resistant and printed in full color at high resolution. The differences are in their other qualities. Our Economy banner looks great but doesn't hang as flat, so we offer it because it's the least expensive, high quality material for those on a tight budget who don't mind the banner not being perfectly flat. Our Standard Curl Free Fire Retardant banner is a high end material that will hang flat without edge curl, but it's a little more expensive, so while most people choose this option, we didn't want to force a more expensive material on those people who would rather save the money. the Fabric Banner is for those who like the look of fabric, and the Premium banner is for those who want the very best banner stand material available, need the extra durability of a laminated graphic, and don't mind the added expense.

That depends on your priorities. If you want the least expensive banner, the Economy banner is the best choice. It offers great print quality and durability at an economical price. If you want the banner that hangs the flattest, the Standard Curl Free Blockout banner is the best. The Premium Trade Show Banner has the very highest image quality you can get, and will tend to have less color shift in different lighting conditions, so it would be the best choice if color accuracy is the most important consideration. It's also laminated with a textured polycarbonate that diffuses glare, so it's a good option if glare is big concern or if you plan to use the banner in a place where there will be a light source behind the banner. If you want the most durable banner with fine art print quality, then the Premium banner is the best choice. The fabric banner is a good choice for someone who like the look of fabric and wants a PVC-free banner. The premium banner is also PVC-free.

As we've said before, all our banners are quality materials with excellent print quality and durability, so in that regard, you can't make a bad choice. The Standard Curl Free Blockout banner is by far the most popular material we offer. It has excellent color, a high-end fabric-like finish, and hangs the flattest of any material we offer. The Premium banner also hangs flat, but it has a memory and will curl a little each time it's set up until it has time to relax, which usually takes a few hours.

While most of our customers provide us with a file for printing their banners, we can also design your banner stand graphics for you. We've found in most cases, our customers have an idea of what they want, and often already have logos, photos and the wording they want on the banner. In that case, the design or setup of the file takes much less time and is therefore less expensive than a full design where we would come up with the concept, the images, etc. In a case where you have all the elements and just need us to set them up in a professional and attractive manner, the cost usually runs from $50-$75. For situations where we need to do a bit more work and get high resolution images for you, the cost is generally in the $75-$100 range. Full design work from concept to finished product can run from $250-$500 or more.

Yes, the installation of the banner in the stand is included so your stand is ready to go when you receive it. Some portable models require the banner to be removed after each use, so in those cases, the banner will not come attached to the stand.

The cost for a replacement banner will obviously vary depending on the banner material selected, as well as the particular model of stand the banner is for, since the size varies between models. The easiest way to determine the cost of a replacement banner is to look at the hardware only price for a particular stand, and deduct that from the cost of the stand with the banner of your choice. The difference will be the cost of a replacement banner.

All portable banner stands have very simple methods of attaching and replacing the banner, so there should be no need to send the stand back to have the banners changed.

There are quantity discounts available on both the banners and the stands. The discounts on the banner printing are for multiple copies of the same design, and are available at quantities of 2, 10, 25, 50, etc. Discounts on the hardware vary by model but generally start at quantities of 11. Yes, we can provide replacement banners for any stand, whether or not it's one we sell. It may be necessary for you to send us the stand so we can be sure the banner is printed at the correct size and with the correct specifications to work properly, but otherwise, it should not be any problem.

Since we sell such a huge selection of stands, the odds are good that we can provide repair or replacement parts for you. There are some brands that we don't work with and can't get replacement parts for, but if the stand is not under warranty anyway, we may be able to repair it for you, since the design of most stands is the same.
