Banner Stand Lighting
Banner stand lighting is a valuable addition to any banner stand display, especially those being used in a trade show environment. Low voltage banner stand spotlights help to illuminate your graphics and make your display stand out among the crowd. Trade shows are not usually well lit, so displays without extra lighting tend to look dull compared with those that have banner stand spotlights. That makes banner stand lighting a very cost effective method to get more attention from potential customers.
We have many different styles of lights, including LED banner stand spotlights so that most of our banner stands have at least one lighting option. In some cases, we have lights that were designed to work with specific banner stands, an others are generic and are designed to work with a wide variety of models.

This affordable 12 volt banner stand light has a "goose neck" arm, and an adjustable head and tail. The light includes a 110 volt UL approved transformer, a low voltage 50 watt MR16 bulb and universal fitting kit, which allows it be mounted to most horizontal surfaces.

The Lumina 2 banner stand light is a low voltage 50 watt "slender" spotlight with curved arm and adjustable head, which mounts to the vertical pole in back of the banner stand and is only available in an attractive brushed stainless steel finish. Light includes 110 volt UL approved transformer, 50 watt MR16 bulb and pole clamp. It is the perfect accessory to your banner stand.

This 3 watt LED banner stand light has a fitting designed specifically to fit the socket on top of the support pole of the Expo Pro, Sterling and QuickSilver retractable banner stands, and also includes a universal adapter that allows it to be used with most banner stands. The UL listed power supply can be used with USA or international power thanks to the included adapter. The 3 watt LED bulb provides approximately the same amount of light as a 35 watt halogen light.

The spotlight has also been approved according to the Intertek-Semko S-mark, which means that the lamp has passed tests conducted by an independent third party. The design of the Expand Banner Stand Spotlight features a heat displacement shield and a dimmer switch. Normal turnaround time is 4-5 days if you're ordering graphics with your display hardware. For hardware only orders, the turnaround time is usually 1-2 days. During the order process you will be asked if you have a specific due date, and if you do, we will adjust your shipping method, if necessary, to get your order to you on time. Keep in mind that shipping cases are large, and get charged based on dimensional weight, so shipping methods other than ground can be very expensive.
Banner stand lights are not necessary, but they are a good idea in many situations. Trade show lighting is often dim, so those displays that have lighting tend to stand out from those that don't. If you are going to a trade show in a competitive industry, banner stand spotlights would be a good idea. In retail environments or other locations where the environment tends to be better illuminated, lights are not really necessary.
That depends on the model of banner stand you have. The Space Banner Stand Spotlight and the Lumina series of lights are designed to fit most models, and of those, the Space Banenr Stand Spotlight is our favorite because, like the Lumina 2, it clips on to the support pole behind the banner, rather than on the headrail. On some models, the added weight on the headrail could make the banner stand less stable, but clipping to the pole distributes the weight better so the stability of the stand is not affected. Plus, it's the best value since it's very well made, is less expensive, and comes with a padded travel bag as standard.
For the Expo, Sterling, or QuickSilver models, the Silver Light spotlight is the best choice. It has a special fitting designed to insert into the top of the pole fitting on these banner stands. The Silver Light is a standard voltage light, so if you need a low voltage light, the Space Banner Stand Spotlight would be the best choice.
For any of the Expand retractable banner stands, the Expand spotlight would be the best choice as it's designed specifically for these stands.
The Portable Banner Stand Spotlight is the recommended model for the Promo Banner Stand, Portable Graphic Stand, GripGraphic Stand, and Ultra Banner Stands.
Because halogen lights get very hot, they are a greater fire hazard, which is why some trade shows have prohibited their use. LED spotlights are the latest trend in banner stand lighting, because they are more environmentally friendly since they use much less electricity, and also because they don't get hot like halogen lights. The 3 watt Silver Light LED banner stand spotlight works with most banner stands, as does the 5 watt Lotus LED banner stand spotlight. We also have replacement LED bulbs for our Space Banner Stand Spotlight and Lumina series of lights so you can turn an existing Lumina spotlight into an LED light by purchasing the proper bulb. This has the added advantage of allowing to use either the halogen or the LED lamp, depending on your circumstances.
